Finnish bulker owner ESL Shipping has pushed up earnings as it expands with the takeover of AtoB@C this month, with more expansion to potentially follow.
Operating profit in the second quarter was EUR 4.3m ($4.97m), up from EUR 3.1m a year ago.
Revenue grew to EUR 22.6m against EUR 19.5m in 2017.
In June, it agreed to buy Sweden's AtoB@C and its fleet of 30 small owned and chartered-in bulkers for around EUR 30m.
