Two LNG carrier newbuildings contracted by Celsius Tankers have been ordered on a speculative basis.
Speaking to TradeWinds, Celsius Shipping executive chairman Jeppe Jensen said: “There are no firm contracts attached to the orders.”
The two 180,000-cbm LNG newbuildings signed at Samsung Heavy Industries last week are due for delivery in October and December 2020.
The deal includes two optional LNG berths.
