ST Engineering Marine has arrested EMAS Offshore’s 10,800-hp AHTS Lewek Penguin (built 2007). The vessel is currently docked at ST's shipyard in Singapore
The shipyard lodged a claim with the High Court of Singapore totalling SGD 852,346. ($619,924).
EMAS is a subsidiary of Singaporean offshore player Ezra Holdings. Like many of the country’s offshore operators, it is fighting for survival in the face of crippling debt.
