Evergreen Marine Corp has confirmed a plan to charter 36 feeder containerships in a binge that is larger than the market had anticipated.
The Taiwanese operator intends to charter 14 containerships of 2,500-teu and 24 containerships of 1,800 teu, according to a brief statement issued by the Taiwan Stock Exchange.
