New York-listed Diana Containerships has logged a 24% net increase in hire rate for the 5,042-teu Pamina (built 2005) on a new charter disclosed today.
The Greek owner said it had fetched $11,950 per day, minus a 5% commission, from Hyundai Merchant Marine on a charter for a minimum of eight months and maximum of 12.
The panamax previously had been on with Orient Overseas Container Line Ltd Hong Kong at a rate of $9,500 per day minus a 3.75%
