Dioryx Maritime, one of the oldest Greek containership players, is parting with vessels it ordered more than 10 years ago against long-term employment with Pan Ocean, prior to its bankruptcy.
Capitalising on the sharp rise in prices for traditional panamax boxships, the Athens-based company is reported to have sold the 4,300-teu Patraikos (built 2010) to unidentified buyers for a firm $15m, according to Greek and international brokers.
