European short sea shipping specialist Compagnie Luxembourgeoise d’Navigation (CLdN Cobelfret) has secured a loan totalling EUR 73m ($84.9m) to support an order for two ro-ro newbuildings in Korea.
Germany’s KfW IPEX-Bank says it is providing the financing, to what it describes as a long-standing client, for a pair of 5,000 lane metre newbuildings.
The ships are to be built at Hyundai Mipo, says KfW IPEX-Bank.
