Flush with new tanker purchases, Jakarta-based Waruna Nusa Sentana is trimming its fleet of older tonnage, selling two products tankers for recycling in Bangladesh.
Brokers report that the 30,000-dwt Maiden Energy (built 1990) and the 17,700-dwt Maiden East (built 1986) have been sold on an as-is basis in Belawan for $365 per ldt.
This equates to $2.22m for the Maiden Energy and $1.86m
