Container shipping lines are continuing to cut back on their transpacific services amid uncertainty over the impact of the Sino-US trade war on freight volumes and rates.
The latest reductions will be implemented next month by members of the Ocean Alliance, which will suspend one of their transpacific services currently being operated with six 10,000-teu ships.
The service to be suspended — the PSW4 — was launched in April last year using owned vessels supplied by China's Cosco Lines, according to Alphaliner.
