Japan P&I Club has opened a dedicated freight demurrage and defence (FD&D) desk in Tokyo in what could prove to be a critical battleground against rival clubs for its Japanese business in the coming years.
Specialist maritime lawyer Will Turner has been taken on to head up the dedicated desk and drive the expansion into FD&D.
