SolstadFarstad subsidiary Solship Invest 3 remains in talks with creditors as it seeks a financial restructuring.
The Norwegian OSV giant said its unit had agreed an extension of a halt on instalment and interest payments on debt until 20 July.
The freeze was put in place in February to give it time to find a long-term solution for its capital structure.
