Maersk Broker chief says first half of 2018 was 'very active'

Maersk Broker has enjoyed a “very active” first half to 2018 despite challenges in many markets.

The development follows an increase in profit during 2017 and considerable investments in the dry cargo chartering and offshore segments.

Anders Hald, chief executive of Maersk Broker, said in an update on the company’s LinkedIn group: “The third quarter has started on a high note despite the summer season, considerable new business is in the pipeline.”
