Shipping Corporation of India (SCI) officials confirmed today that the 22,900-cbm LPG carriers Annapurna and Nanga Parbat (both built 1991) have been sold for recycling.
The ships are currently in Dubai where they are due to handed over to their new cash buyer owners. Both have been reportedly sold for $406 per ldt, which equates to $3.2m per ship.Both have been in the SCI fleet since they were new.
