S&P Global Platts is looking to expand the list of Mediterranean ports offering low sulfur fuel oil (LSFO) reflected in its market assessments.
The pricing agency currently publishes bids and offers in five locations: Milazzo in Sicily, Malta, Gibraltar, Algeciras, and Ceuta in North Africa.
It says that following market feedback it understands that the ports at Lavrion, Atherinolakkos, Vassilikos, Agioi Theodori, Eleusis, Beirut, Aliaga, Barcelona, Livorno, and Naples are also regular importers of LSFO.
