A project to install rotor sails on a multipurpose (MPP) vessel in the fleet of Fehn Ship Management (FSM) is expected to reap rewards at a time of high bunker prices.
Success will be measured in the coming months following the completed sea trials of the 4,250-dwt Fehn Pollux (built 1996), but managers of the Leer-based company say the reaction of the market to the wind-assisted vessel has already been encouraging.
