Vitol-owned Latvian Shipping Company (LSC) is targeting a fleet expansion to 40 tankers by 2020.
This would boost the number of ships from 28 currently, according to company representatives cited by the LETA news agency.
The expansion is just one of its potential growth directions, it said.
The latest addition to the fleet is the 51,000-dwt Isola Blu (built 2008), owned by Italy's Finaval but now under LSC technical management.
