Cargill Ocean Transportation has inked 12-year time charters with China State Shipbuilding Corp's CSSC Leasing division for a quartet of mini-capesize bulkers.
The deal includes options for two more of the large bulk carriers constructed by a sister company under the state-owned shipbuilding giant's umbrella.
News that CSSC Leasing was to ink the charter contract with Cargill was first reported in TradeWinds in March.
