Nigerian shipowning company EA Temile & Sons has broken into the LPG market with a newbuilding order at Hyundai Mipo Dockyard.
Temile has inked in a single 23,000-cbm vessel at the South Korean yard, with options for a second ship, backed by long-term employment from Nigeria LNG. London-listed Clarksons brokered the newbuildings.
Tony Attah, chief executive of Nigeria LNG, said the newbuildings represent a ground-breaking transaction.
