An Odfjell-managed chemical tanker collided with a jetty in the Dutch port of Rotterdam on Saturday, spilling 217 tonnes of heavy fuel oil.
“On her way to the assigned berth for loading, the 37,499-dwt Bow Jubail (built 1996) made contact with the jetty and accidentally ruptured the hull,” Odfjell said in a statement.
