Eksportkreditt Norge has launched a new fund to support shipowners ordering at Norwegian shipyards.
The Government says ferries, fishing vessels, well boats and short sea vessels are all covered under the new offering.
Torbjorn Roe Isaksen, Minister of Trade and Industry, said: "This is a relevant and accurate measure that will lead to increased activity in Norwegian shipyards and to our expertise and workplaces in Norway.
