BW Group has boosted its tanker fleet by chartering in four newbuildings after dropping optional tanker slots at a South Korean shipyard.
Tina Revsbech-led BW Tankers has chartered a brace of MR newbuildings and taken a pair of 80,000-dwt LR1 tankers, both from Japanese counterparties.
The MRs are under construction at Japan Marine United for Japanese tonnage provider Nissen Kaiun, which has a firm relationship with BW Group.
