K Line has ordered a 100,000-dwt coal carrier at Imabari Shipbuilding under a long term freight deal with Kobe Steel.
The deal was announced by Imabari Shipbuilding this week although no price was disclosed by the shipbuilder.
Imabari said that the newbuilding would comply with Nox Tier III emissions regulations and also the International Association of Classification Societies common structural rules.
