Maran Gas inks another FSRU as it sets sights on first project

Greek shipowner John Angelicoussis has ordered a second apparently speculative floating storage and regasification unit at DSME as gas vehicle Maran Gas Maritime hones in on business for its first FSRU newbuilding.

Confirming options for both a 173,400-cbm FSRU and an LNG carrier at the Posidonia meeting in Greece, Angelicoussis mirrored a move he made on similar tonnage at his favoured yard at the same event in 2016.
