Singapore’s Nova Shipping & Logistics is taking advantage of low shipbuilding prices to renew and grow its fleet.
The shipping arm of Asian resources giant Royal Golden Eagle (RGE) has been linked to an order for up to eight ships at Chengxi Shipyard in China.
Shipbuilding sources said Nova would place an order for four firm 50,000-dwt woodchip carriers. The deal includes an option for four additional bulkers.
