Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) and Morocco's OCP have agreed to explore the "phased creation" of a new global fertilisers joint venture that will cover shipping and logistics.
The operation will draw on ADNOC’s maritime network, sulphur production and ammonia and gas expertise. as well as OCP's access to large phosphate resources.
The combined operations will focus on two fertiliser production hubs, one in the UAE and one in Morocco, using both existing and new assets, giving the proposed joint venture global market reach.
