Twenty-seven teams from across the shipping industry took on the challenge of crossing 25 kilometres (15 miles) of the Great Wall of China, raising $115,000 for the Sailors’ Society last week.
The event was jointly sponsored by Cargill and Minsheng Financial Leasing, and attracted the likes of Clarksons, Lorentzen & Stemoco, Latitude Brokers, China Navigation, Xinde Marine and the North of England Protection & Indemnity Club.
