Shell has firmed up a letter of intent with Sembcorp Marine for the construction and integration of the hull and topsides for a floating production unit (FPU).
The Singapore offshore shipyard group initially signed a letter of intent for the Vito FPU in December last year.
Financial terms were not disclosed, with Sembcorp citing a client confidentially agreement with Shell.
