A Universal Energy bunker tanker that had been arrested has turned up in the fleet of Singapore-based Equatorial Marine Fuel Management.
Sold at auction in April, the 4,000-dwt UE Star (built 2014) is now trading under the name Sea Loyalty, according to the IHS database.
The purchase gives Equatorial a fleet of 12 bunker tankers.
The ship was last operated by Universal Energy, which was one of Singapore’s largest bunker suppliers until it was barred from trading by the Maritime & Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) late last year.
