Scorpio Tankers has moved to further strengthen its chartering team with the recruitment of Aron Larsen from BP Shipping.
Larsen will join Scorpio Tankers in London in a move that reunites him with former boss Lars Dencker Nielsen, who was hired by the shipowner as commercial director earlier this year.
Larsen, who has worked on the chartering of small tankers all the way up to VLCCs during a 14-year career with BP Shipping, confirmed his appointment when contacted by TradeWinds.
