Charterers looking for LNG tonnage have floated new potential business in the market covering both multi-month and multi-year periods, further exciting an already upwards-looking sector.
These come on the back of an upswing in spot fixtures for LNG carriers seen between the end of April and early May. Last week, broking reports suggested that at least 13 vessels were fixed for spot business.
