Avance Gas looked to changing dynamics in the second half of 2018 after a weak VLGC market dragged it to a deeper than expected loss for the first quarter.
Oslo-listed Avance says a cold winder raised domestic LPG demand in the US, with the impact on exports proving a drag on the freight market.
However, Avance notes official statistics show growth of US LPG production and exports are set to return to normal levels.
