Glencore has sold nearly its entire holding in Russian energy company Rosneft by dissolving a consortium formed with Qatar Investment Authority (QIA).
The pair came together to buy a 19.5% slice of Rosneft in December 2016.
It had a deal in place to sell 14.16% to CEFC China Energy last October, but this has now been terminated.
The Financial Times reported that CEFC's founder was detained by Chinese authorities in February.
