The LNG marine bunkering market has been described as a “massive prize” by Shell Energy’s top man in Asia.
But the path to implementation will not be smooth, senior energy industry leaders told delegates at the Sea Asia LNG Forum in Singapore on Tuesday.
“Transport demand represents over 30% of energy demand and ifyou look at the current transition from the current fuel solutions – when you look at different sectors of transport – you get to different logical answers,” said Shell Energy’s executive vice president Steve Hill.
