Beijing has in principle approved a merger of China State Shipbuilding Corp (CSSC) and China Shipbuilding Industry Co (CSIC), according to talk sweeping through the shipbuilding market.
If the two giants are to join forces they will account for more than half of the nation’s shipbuilding and dwarf rivals in South Korea.
