Trader and shipowner Vitol has increased revenue in what it described as a challenging 2017.
Vessel journeys rose to 6,491 last year from 6,089 in 2016, while revenue hit $181bn, compared to $152bn.
Crude oil and products volumes were down slightly at 349m tonnes, from 351m tonnes.
The company was trading more than 7m barrels per day through the year.
