Kristian Morch believes the tide could turn for the chemical tankers in 2018 with the Odfjell chief executive expecting it to be one of the busiest in the company’s history.
Oslo-listed Odfjell ordered six newbuildings and added 18 vessels from rivals in 2017 taking its fleet to 83 vessels.
Writing in the company’s annual report, Morch said: “We believe that the fundamentals of our markets look favorable going forward, and we think that 2018 may be the turning point.
