DOF chief executive Mons Aase says "promising” signs are clear in the offshore market after three years of the severe downturn, with almost two-thirds of laid-up anchor handling tug supply vessels in the North Sea now facing an uncertain future.
Aase says the global offshore markets remain uncertain and uneven, with the North Sea seen as a bright spot and the Asian Pacific remaining one of the dim areas.
