AP Moller-Maersk has defended the timing of its energy business sales, stressing that the divestment of the four units is an essential part of its new focus as a container and logistics specialist.
Some at the company’s capital markets day in Copenhagen last week left disappointed that there was not additional clarity on the divestment of Maersk Drilling and Maersk Supply Service.
