Greek player Super-Eco Tankers has sold one of its oldest product tankers, in the middle of taking delivery of four newbuildings.
A manager at the Piraeus-based company confirmed to TradeWinds that the Hyundai Mipo-built, 37,200-dwt Rosa Tomasos (built 2003) had been sold for further trading to Far Eastern buyers for about $8.5m.
It was the oldest MR1 unit in the Super-Eco Tankers fleet.
