The Chinese head of Cosco Shipping Lines in Pakistan has been shot dead in Karachi.
Chen Zhu, 45, was killed by a bullet to the head as at least 10 shots were fired into his car on Monday.
Reuters cited police as saying it appeared to be a targeted attack.
In December, China had warned its citizens in Pakistan of plans for attacks on Chinese targets there.
