Nasdaq-listed Capital Product Partners (CPP) has revealed the purchase of an MR tanker from its parent sponsor, while confirming the sale of another.
The Evangelos Marinakis-backed owner said it had bought the 50,000-dwt Anikitos (built 2016) for $31.5m from Capital Maritime.
The deal is conditional on its completing the sale of the 52,000-dwt MR Aristotelis (built 2013) to a third party for $29.4m.
