Japan's Kyoei Tanker has returned to Namura Shipbuilding for another VLCC.
The company said its board had decided to order a 310,300-dwt tanker to expand its fleet.
It added the price was confidential, but was "fair and reasonable, taking market value etc into consideration."
The vessel could be costing around $80m based on deals at the end of last year.
