India's Seven Islands Shipping has clinched a two-year charter to carry products for state-run refiner IOC.
The deal calls for an MR to transport petrol along the coast at $14,000 per day, an official connected to the tender told the Hindu Business Line.
Seven Islands had made the lowest offer for the business.
The company will now buy a 46,000-dwt second-hand tanker for the contract, at a price of $10m.
