The former chairman of Farstad Shipping resigned suddenly from the Solstad Farstad board this week, as confirmed by the Oslo-listed company.
The move by Sverre Andreas “Andy” Farstad was done in protest over what he calls “broken promises”, according to various Norwegian media outlets.
Andy Farstad says promises made before the fusion with Solstad Offshore, to keep Farstad Shipping’s organization involved in the merged group, have not been kept.
