Historic Norwegian brokerage RG Hagland has formed a joint-venture in the renewables market with North Sea Shipbrokers of Denmark.
The combination is based on a relationship between former Eidesvik chartering manager Tommy Sandtorv, who joined Hagland 18 months ago, and North Sea Shipbrokers boss Anders Helsinghoff Fjord.
Hagland, owned by brokers Arne and Knut W Aanensen, will boast a 49% slice of the combined business, with Fjord holding the balance.
