Korean shipbuilder DSME has confirmed it is in talks with the Romanian government to sell its 51% stake in Daewoo Mangalia Heavy Industries (DMHI).
Such a move would see its 2017 deal with Damen Shipyards Group for the shares torn up.
The Romanian government told DSME this month that it intended to use its pre-emptive right to buy the holding.
