IMC Industrial Logistic of Singapore has partnered CSSC Shipping — the leasing arm of China State Shipbuilding Corp (CSSC) — on an order for up to eight IMO type 2 chemical and product tankers worth almost $300m.
The duo has contracted CSSC Offshore & Marine Engineering Co (Comec), previously known as J Shipyard International, to build four 55,000-dwt vessels for delivery in 2020 and 2021.
