Mylonas-family venture Transmed Shipping has emerged as the new owner of a 10-year-old capesize bulker that changed hands in a bank sale last month.
The 170,000-dwt King Robert (built 2008) had fetched $119.5m when Germany’s Konig & Cie raised funds to buy it from Daehan Shipbuilding back in 2008, against a five-year charter to Sanko at $48,000 per day.
However, five years later the German KG (limited partnership) that owned the King Robertfiled
