Union Maritime is making a profitable asset play on a supramax bulker it purchased in June last year.
US brokers say the UK-based tanker and bulker owner is selling the 58,000-dwt Albion (built 2008) to an undisclosed buyer for $13.3m — a price that is in line with expectations.
The company, which did not respond to requests for comment, bought the Tsuneishi Zhoushan-built ship as the Tenko Maru for $8.7m
