Taiwanese general cargo player Glory Navigation has reached an agreement with Higaki Zosen in Japan to build three 10,000-dwt tweendeck-equipped general cargoships.
Eddie Huang, managing director of Singapore-based shipowning arm Glory Pacific, tells TradeWinds that the ships are scheduled for delivery between January 2019 and March 2020.
“We may add another two ships to the order for delivery later in 2020 and early 2021,” Huang said.
